Which OS X version are you using? With OS X 10.2.6, I just plug in my USB reader and it works. No driver was needed. My reader is a Belkin which I bought for $17 at CompUSA recently, but I don't think it should matter what brand it is, since USB is USB. It worked fine in OS9, but I had to wait what seemed forever for the OSX 10.2 driver. The OSX driver works fine by the way. But if Microtech is gone, we unlucky Cameramate owners are stuck with an unsupported orphan. We may indeed be up the creek every time the Mac OS changes.
