Better at Blocking Attacks Naturally I had no trouble installing McAfee on my clean test system, and it mostly did a good job of blocking malware attacks on that system. It was especially effective at preventing download of malware by blocking access to the malware-hosting site. It even blocked a number of URLs that aren't currently active but definitely did host malware in the past.
