Price points at Jonny Mac’s skew to the affordable with platters ranging between $9 for the jambalaya to $15 for the whole rack of ribs, all served with an accompanying side item and choice of bread. Salad prices start at $3 for a small house salad and peak at $8 for the Beach Cottage Salad, which features shrimp and blue crab. Sandwiches are mostly in the $7-$9 range, with the whole muffuletta topping the high end at $14. Wine is available by the bottle and the glass, and beer selections on tap include Asheville Brewing, Green Man and Oskar Blues products. Blue Moon and Bud Light are available in bottles. Since its soft opening in August, McLeod says, Jonny Mac’s has established a steady group of regulars.
“The people of Fletcher and the surrounding areas are great, loyal customers and we appreciate them,” he says. During the grand opening, which runs Friday, Dec. 2, through Sunday, Dec. 4, complimentary bread pudding with white chocolate sauce will be offered to all guests. McLeod notes that additional desserts available on the menu include homemade vanilla bean ice cream and the Chocolate Train Wreck, which combines a brownie and a slice of chocolate cake.
